Sustainability Report 2020-2021

The Sustainability Report 2020-2021 relates to the businesses operated by Noble Group Holdings Limited (“NGHL” and together with its subsidiaries, the “NGHL Group”) during the period 1 January 2020 to 31 December 2021.  The Sustainability Report 2020-2021 outlines the NGHL Group’s approach to environmental, social and governance (“ESG”) matters, including climate and supply chain issues, over the course of that period.

By referencing the widely adopted standards for sustainability impact set out in the GRI Sustainability Reporting Standards, the sustainability Report 2020-2021 aims to present a balanced and comprehensive picture of the NGHL Group’s sustainability performance.

Important Note for Readers of the Sustainability Report 2020-2021

On 17 December 2021, NGHL announced a deleveraging and reorganisation which completed (after the period covered by the Sustainability Report 2020-2021) on 4 April 2022.  As a result of that deleveraging and reorganisation, Noble Trading Co Limited and its subsidiaries (which carried on the commodities trading business of the NGHL Group) ceased to be part of the NGHL Group and are now owned by Noble Resources Trading Holdings Limited (“Noble Resources”), a company unrelated to the NGHL Group.

As such, in reading the Sustainability Report 2020-2021, readers should be aware that the sections relating to Jamalco and Harbour energy PLC cover business which remain part of the NGHL Group after 4 April 2022.  However, the sections relating to the commodities trading business cover business owned by Noble Resources after 4 April 2022.

The Sustainability Report 2020-2021 should be read in that context.
